In this project, we were required to choose any object that we then measure precisely and model it in the exact way. We are to create a 3D version, thirds angle projection with lists of components and their quantity and the final render.
3D model
The object I have chosen was a desk and this is the 3D model that I made.

Third angle projection
As I have mentioned earlier, one of the requirement was to create a third angle projection with the precise dimensions, list of components and their quantity.

The top right image has the lis of the components and their quantity. This desk specifically has a lot of measurement as there are different level and thickness of the wood. I have tried to measure the desk as precise as I can, however, due to the corners of the desk being curved and smooth out, it was quite hard to get the exact measurement.
The measurement above would be slightly off than the actual one due to that problem.
You can't really tell on this projection but the top of the desk is slightly protruding out by 3mm, it will be much more visible on the final render.
Final render
The final render with the right materials is this one. As you can see, there is a tiny gap on the side and in front. I really like the way it looks on the final render.

This is the exact model of the desk that I have chosen. The front view and back view is below.

Exploded
I also made another 3D copy where it shows the parts more clearly.

Another problem I encountered was, on the third angle projection, you can see that there is hydraulic slide on both side of the drawer. However, I couldn't draw it on this model as I had a very difficult time figuring out how it looked exactly and I reckoned I should just show it on the list of components.
Evaluation
If I had to this project again, I would research more about the components and would start creating that first. Although I am satisfied with the final design, I think I could have put in more details with the drawer and the screws. The screw aren't just normal once but I don't know how it works so maybe I could have researched more about that and could have made a more precise and exact copy of my desk.
